Carol Bastides (Praia Grande - SP) started surfing at the age of 4, at Boqueirão beach, in Praia Grande. In 2019, shortly before turning 8, Carol was crowned Brazilian Under 10 champion, and in 2023 she made history: Two-time Brazilian Under 12 Champion and Brazilian Under 14 Champion.
